His/her main responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Support the development and implementation of EHS management systems.
- Perform compliance audits and define corrective actions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare EHS legal registers.
- Provide general EHS compliance support to clients, including on-site assistance as needed.
- Support in the development of sustainability strategies, covering different areas: water resources management, biodiversity, health and safety, social aspects, etc.
- Support in the elaboration of sustainability reports, as well as the necessary documents to participate in other reporting initiatives, such as CDP, DJSI, etc.
- Calculation of carbon footprint, water related KPIs, etc.
- Support project managers in requested activities such as research for information, writing reports, etc.
- Getting embedded into the team and fulfil with all administrative requirements
Ideal candidate
- We are seeking for a candidate with enthusiasm to develop a career in a sustainability consulting firm.
- 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or related discipline.
- H&S Master degree is a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish, French and English.
- Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
- Strong MS Office computer skills; advanced understanding of PowerPoint, and Excel desired.
- Availability for very frequent travels.
