Responsibilities:

Planning and supervising on-site projects following standard operating procedures, and performing method and project specific quality control procedures.
Review proposals, test plans, work requirements, and equipment needs.
Assemble, operate, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment.
Retrieve, analyze, and report testing data.
Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
Quality Assurance reviews.
Communicate and collaborate with other AASI personnel and clients in all aspects of company business.
Manage and train small team of junior level Stack testers

Requirements:

5 to 10 years working experience with instrumentation and field measurements.
Proficient in USEPA methods for air sampling.
Proficient math skills and a basic understanding of chemistry principles.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to obtain a DOT medical certification.
Able to work a flexible schedule including overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
Willing to travel including overnight stays (approx. 60%).
Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds.
Capable of climbing stacks up to ~200 ft. (ladders and stairs).
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of computer software including MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Mechanically inclined; capable of working on instrumentation and other testing equipment.
QSTI Certification Preferred (must be able to get within 12 months)
